alot of things have happened since i last blogged about brazil's defeat.
for one, my group got into the 2nd round of the maths carnival. we're doing a sequel to the three lil pigs & the big bad wolf, by the way. in this story, one of the brothers, Roast, is pignapped by the wolf. the 2 remaining brothers go in search of their brother, solving mathematics problems on the way.
we have since made it into the finals (top 5 teams, out of 56. cool, yeah?)
had a maths carnival consultation with mrs chia today. she's so nice! gave us a lollipop each, too. =) i chose strawberry and cream. then she watched our play. she said that our content sucks. well, she just said it's not enough. same thing, really...
christine wanted more time. when we last timed our play (it was the original one), it took about 10-15 minutes. now, we're supposed to cram everything into a measly 5 minutes. i don't know how we're supposed to do that! well, okay, we managed to cut it down to 5 min 33 seconds. but alot of our content vanished with it. BLEAH. =P
i hve gotten back my results for the maths test i studied really hard for. barely passed. if it's out of 100%, i only get 57%. you do the math. you don't need to be a genius to predict whether my parents will kill me or not. and now i have a bloody B4 staining my report book. *sob, sob*
funny. all the things i'm talking about have to do with maths. shall move on to geography.
geog. project is due next friday, and we're not doing anything about it. however, christine and rachel t. are gonna do it tomorrow after doing maths carnival.
maths AGAIN. Psh... >.<
and now, we have to change the entire script for M.C. sarah said so, anyway... i don't really want to do it. but i really want to win-if we do, i can get an A2 on my maths. shall not elaborate on my marks. ARGH!!! please, PLEASE let us find a way to squash our play into 5 minutes, and still have plenty of content... PLEASE???!!!
If there is any justice in the world, my wish will come true. but apparently, there is only a very slim chance. dang it. time to put my brain into overdrive.
