i have tuition (maths and science) later on, at 12.30 pm. it totally sucks. there's this guy in my class who keeps using this word: 'noob'. is that how you spell it? i don't know. Mayn (thnx 4 tagging, btw!) and Kah Yeen say that all the time, too. they say it means stupid, and they took it from maple story or something.
personally, i find maple story pretty stupid itself. no offence to maple lovers out there.
which brings me to another subject: all the guys i know (and they're all like, from my three tuition classes)seem to REVOLVE around maple. what is the big deal about maple, anyway? all i know is that when my brother tried to install it into the computer, it went dead and it took my dad three days to fix it. from then on, the maple CD has been hidden away in my cuboard, collecting dust.
even my best (guy) friend plays maple. and i recall myself thinking: "maple, maple, MAPLE. is that the most important thing in life???!" when he started raving about it.
even my gal friends are caught up in this craze. i overheard sylvia (talking to jephine and erica) saying: "anyone going on comp. today? cos i need someone to help me go on to my account."
when i asked what they were talking about, they rolled their eyes and were like: "D'OH. Maple! you mean you've never heard about it?!"
which i find highly insulting. i mean, yes, i AM a little blur (sarah refers to this as 'toot'), but not so DENSE that i have no idea what in the world maple was.
and sarah: could you please stop calling me 'the toot one' just because i start daydreaming when you're talking to me? sometimes even I need to escape reality, you know.
