T oday was ACES day. Oh, and we had the celebration for Teachers' Day too.
it was raining when i got up. the school bus was late, so i had to wait for 10 minutes. the annoying P2 girl tugged at my Miss Sixty shirt and asked why i was wearing it. right after she sneezed into that hand, too. disgusted, i ignored her and moved to another seat.
went to class. we were supposed to put our bags there before going to the hall (as a class, of course) for ACES day. tried to tie my tie, but failed to. asked KY and Mel Tan, but in the end, i lent the tie to Mayn, cos she said she didn't look retro (our theme) at ALL, so... yeah. :) i also borrowed a polka-dotted bandanna from Mel Tan to use it as a headband. Kept slipping off, so i had to tie it like 4 times before it was secure.
then us 1PEans went to the hall. since there wasn't enough room, each round (4 of them) had 4 different classes. we were in the 2nd round, with Courage and Prudence. Or Generosity. Can't remember. so we started our routine, with everyone else. yeah, i know, 4 teams performing at the same time, to the same song ("Kungfu Fighting")? confusing...
but i thought we did well. alot of ppl from other classes said that we were really synchronised and good, so i'm not being ego! LOL. then after everyone performed, the PE teachers tossed this huge ball to us, and everyone was trying to get their hands on it and stuff.
after that, we were allowed to go off and visit the teachers to give them their gifts. mine consisted of snacks, and Lil Sis (whom accompanied me for the gift-giving) made really quirky stuff, like a voodoo doll for Mr Teo to vent his anger on, so he wouldn't take it out on us. For some reason, she also gave Ms Pang a rock. From New Zealand. But still.
then i went to visit my old teachers from Primary school. found my Chinese teacher in the hall, watching the performance, so i gave it to her there. as i was walking to the staff room to give Mrs Kam and Ms Teh (now Mrs See) their gifts, i saw Ms Heng emerge from the hall. Mayn and I quickly dived into the staffroom. was she after US??? we wondered. after leaving the presents in the teachers' pigeon holes, Mayn and i peeped out to check that no one was looking, and ran down the corridor back to our classroom.
then we had this Teachers' Day concert in the amphitheatre. some performances were good and entertaining and really synchronised, but some really sucked. there was one where this girl kept singing out of tune during the song. i could see pain on some of the teachers' faces.
after the TD concert, Ms Chua told us that the drama trainer was ill, and we didn't need to attend Drama. REALLY REALLY HAPPY. =)
in between all these activities, Chelsea, Vera and Sha started talking to me about _________ who they now call "boyfriend-stealer", and giving me advice, blah blah blah. yeah. even sha confirmed that _________ only ants who-she-wants because of *rubs fingers together* (qian, moola, dough, bread: MONEY.)
ugh. read the post below if you're totally clueless. i really don't know what to do now. about this thing, i mean.
